Chirag Katti: Sitar Recital Accompanied by Tabla

Chirag Katti is one of the most accomplished young sitarists of his generation, known for expressing his vibrancy and musical identity through refined artistry. Born into a distinguished musical family, he began training at an early age under the guidance of his father, Pandit Shashank Katti, and has spent over three decades immersed in the tradition of Hindustani classical music. An 'A' grade artist of All India Radio, Chirag has performed classical solo concerts professionally for more than two decades and is among the youngest artists recorded by Saregama HMV, India's oldest and most prestigious record label. Alongside solo performances, he leads his ensemble Sitar Rhapsody and has appeared at major festivals and venues across India, the USA, Austria, Japan, South Africa, Thailand, and the UAE. He made his international solo debut at Tokyo Radio at age 16. A recipient of the prestigious Surmani Award, Chirag is also a dedicated educator, teaching sitar and conducting workshops worldwide.
