Over the past decade, alto saxophonist Jim Snidero has become a major force on the international jazz scene. Placing Top 5 Alto Sax, Downbeat Magazine’s 2024 International Critic’s Poll, Snidero’s groups have been busy touring the US, Europe and Far East, impressing audiences worldwide with some of the highest-quality acoustic jazz on the planet.
Snidero is absolutely thrilled to record and tour with this new quartet, with their new album release scheduled for the fall of 2026 followed by extensive touring worldwide.

Jim Snidero (Alto Saxophone)
A DownBeat Critics Poll favorite with over 20 million streams, Jim Snidero is an alto saxophone virtuoso and celebrated composer. He has led 26 acclaimed albums and performed alongside icons from the Mingus Big Band to Frank Sinatra.
Stefan Karlsson (Piano)
Native Swedish pianist Stefan Karlsson brings brilliant technique and modern sophistication to the keyboard, backed by over 85 recordings. A longtime member of the elite Eddie Gomez Trio, his playing seamlessly blends deep jazz tradition with fresh innovation.
Ugonna Okegwo (Bass)
Originally from London, German-Nigerian bassist Ugonna Okegwo moved to New York in 1989 joining the Jackie Terrasson trio, touring and recording several albums for Blue Note records. Beginning in 1997, he joined trumpeter Tom Harrell’s Quintet, considered one of the most important jazz groups on the international jazz scene. He toured with Harrell for over twenty years, recording 6 albums with an undeniable jazz giant.
In addition, he has worked with an impressive list of jazz artists, including Wynton Marsalis, Michael Brecker, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jon Hendricks, Johnny Griffin, Benny Carter, James Moody, Pharoah Sanders and many others
Jason Tiemann (Drums)
Known for his crisp technique and deep propulsive swing, Jason Tiemann is one of New York City’s most sought-after drummers. He currently holds the drum chair for flutist Hubert Laws while sharing stages with stars like Eric Alexander and Randy Brecker.
