Kick off your New Year’s Eve at Windmills with the Frederick Sanders Trio!

This early set is ideal if you want to savor our full food and drink menu before heading out to night-long festivities. Guests are welcome to arrive anytime starting at 4:30 PM and enjoy the music until 7:00 PM.

Note: Following the performance, we will kindly ask guests to transition out by 7:00 PM so our team can prepare the room for the late show.

About Frederick Sanders:

Fredrick Sanders is an internationally acclaimed pianist, composer, and educator with over three decades of musical excellence. Skilled across modern jazz styles—from New Orleans Trad and Swing to Bop and Avant-garde—he has performed and recorded alongside jazz luminaries such as Wynton Marsalis, Roy Hargrove, Norah Jones, Clark Terry, and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra.

A graduate of Booker T. Washington HSPVA and Texas State University, Sanders holds a Master’s in Music and has led acclaimed releases like East of Vilbig and Soul Trinity Vol. 1. His global career spans performances from Europe and Japan to major international jazz festivals.

Beyond the stage, Sanders is a dedicated educator, having taught at Tulane University and UNT, and currently serving as Director of Jazz Studies at Weatherford College. Honored for his impact, he was inducted into the Steinway & Sons Teacher Hall of Fame in 2025 and received the D'JAM Artist Award in 2026.
