About the NÜE group:

The NÜE Group is a vocal jazz quartet dedicated to carrying the tradition forward with clarity, precision, and a modern sensibility. Formed in 2025, the group draws inspiration from the lineage of great vocal jazz ensembles, including the Hi-Lo's, The Singers Unlimited, Take 6, and the New York Voices. Rooted in the Great American Songbook and the broader vocal jazz tradition, The NÜE Group emphasizes sophisticated harmonic language, tight ensemble blend, and stylistic authenticity. Their performances range from intimate a capella settings to collaborations with full rhythm section and big band, allowing them to adapt to a wide variety of stages. Each member contributes to the creative process, from arranging and multitracking to production and musical direction, resulting in a sound that is both cohesive and intentional. The NÜE Group aims to honor the past while presenting the music in a way that feels fresh, relevant, and distinctly their own.
